How the numbers work
Every spritz here is built on the 3 : 2 : 1 ratio — three parts sparkling wine, two parts liqueur, one part soda. That's the IBA-official Aperol Spritz build: 90 ml Prosecco, 60 ml Aperol, 30 ml soda over ice, orange slice on top. "Lighter" drops the liqueur to one part, which is how many Italian bars pour a Hugo; "Stronger" evens wine and liqueur. Bottle counts round up — see how many spritzes in a bottle of Aperol for the per-bottle math.
How many bottles of Prosecco per person?
A 750 ml bottle makes about 8 classic spritzes at 90 ml each. People often overbuy Prosecco by planning as if pouring full wine glasses — the prosecco guide shows the difference.
Can I batch it in a pitcher?
Batch the liqueur and chill it ahead; add Prosecco and soda only when pouring or it goes flat. The batch cocktails guide covers what survives mixing ahead.
How much ice for spritzes?
About 250 g per drink — a spritz glass is filled generously with ice by design. The calculator's total includes a margin for melt.
